Sharline “Fouquet” Avera was born in Prague, Oklahoma on September 6th, 1942 to Leon and Stella Fouquet. Sharline left to be with her Heavenly Father on October 5th, 2019.
Sharline was the best southern cook her family ever knew. Everything she cooked was made with love for her family and friends. Sharline was a strong woman who loved her independence and the Lord. She was loved and best known as “Aunt Shockey” and “Tex,” but most of all as “Granny.”
In 2004, Sharline accepted Jesus Christ as her savior, and was baptized at her Baptist church in Joplin, Missouri. Sharline never missed an opportunity to hug and kiss on her four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was full of life, feisty, and enjoyed a littletwo-step every now and then.
Sharline was preceded in death by her ex-husband Bobby L. Lowe, Sr. Together, Bobby and Sharline had three children, Lynn V. Daniel, Bobby L. Lowe, Jr. and Thelma F. Busk. She was also preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
Sharline is survived by her daughter Lynn Daniel and her husband Joe, son Bobby L. Lowe, Jr. and his wife Bertina, and daughter Thelma Busk and her husband Byron. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Yancy Lowe, Christopher Arends, Kala Aragon, and Felix Busk. She has five great-grandchildren, Jadah Aragon, Briggs Aragon, Zephaniah Lowe, Bentlee Aragon, and Tinley Aragon.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 12th, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at James Valley Community Center in Mitchell, SD for a celebration of life. James Valley Community Center is located at 300 W. 1st Ave., Mitchell, SD.
