Sincere Sympathy to Edwin's family - a big hug to Mrs. Burkard. Received info fr cousin in Iowa. I am putting together Burkard 'history'and would appreciate a family member contacting me. My Grandfather was Jacob - son of Casper, who went fr Germany to USA about 1880 - we may be distant cousins??? 'Look forward to hearing from someone. Thanks! Deborah

Helen, I was so sad to read about Ed's death. I'm not sure if you remember me or not. I used to ride my bike over to visit you & Ed when I was living in Green Bay the summer of 1983 and working for WFRV-TV. It was nice to be able to visit with people from Dell Rapids when I was so far away from home - and you were both so friendly to me. May God's peace be with you. Ann Roemen
