Ed and all of Gail's family: My sympathy to each of you. My memories of Gail go back as far as recalling her with her Dad in his later years, as I cared for him in the hospital. Then she was the first introduction to Mary Kay for my sister and I. I believe 4-H also had our paths crossing. So happy that she was able to enjoy more years of being a wife with Ed. She will truly be missed! She just goes along with Dell Rapids, the Lutheran Church, and a piano. May she continue to inspire the MANY lives she touched!

Gail was one of a kind. She became the 1954 DRHS "class president" in 1955 and was already putting together another reunion next year when I saw her this summer. Through her efforts, the bond we shared as classmates remained strong because Gail made arrangements, enlisted help of other classmates, to make
sure we got together for reunions; the most recent, our 60th anniversary in September, 2014 at Deadwood SD. Gail and Connie took it upon themselves to represent our class at funerals of classmates and family members of classmates. They sent a rose and went to the funerals. I recall how much it meant to me to find a rose from my classmates at my parents' services and their presence at the visitation. I will miss you Gail.

Gail was my friend and "partner in crime" here in Riverbend. She was always eager to help in anything I would be working on. She told the greatest funny stories, and we always love to hear them over and over, she told them that good. I'm going to miss that, and talking to her just about stuff.........Love you Gail, Your a Great Lady

Petitions of comfort and blessing to all who mourn this saint who shared with all.
As a childhood friend we shared experiences providing growth: singing in the choir at church and at school; cheering at athletic events; learning at church, school, home, Bible Camp and scout activities. These memories and foundation growing activities last a lifetime.
The modeling of Christian love continues through eternity through the lives of others.

From Grandpa Brown living across the alley from my Grandma and Grandpa, your family has always been a blessing to me. Your mom was an ardent support of me and my calling to ministry and her smile was priceless. After all these years, we knew at Christmas, we would get a card and a letter from Gail. She has been such a blessing in my life and to my family. She celebrated when I got married and loved both of our children when we adopted them. She encouraged me when I needed a lift and always gave great hugs. She will be missed by Barb, Ashley, Tyler and myself. Our prayers are with you.
