Paula M. Siemonsma, 45, of Prole, IA, formerly of Dell Rapids, SD, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at her home of natural causes. Her Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 13, 2023 in St. Mary Catholic Church, Dell Rapids. Visitation with the family present will be from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 12, 2023 at St. Mary Catholic Church with the Christian Wake Service will begin at 7:00 p.m. A Catholic Order of Foresters Rosary will be prayed after the wake.
Paula was born on January 7, 1978 in Sioux Falls, SD. She grew up in Dell Rapids and attended St. Mary School graduating in 1996. She attended Southwest State University in Marshall, MN graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 2000. She later received her Master's Degree in Business Administration from Colorado Tech.
She started her career at Gateway Computers in 2002. She then went to work for Wells Fargo in many positions. She was there for 14 years with her last position as Vice President. For the past three and a half years, Paula was working for US Bank as a Strategic Initiative Manager. Paula lived in Sioux Falls, Lincoln and Des Moines, IA at the time of her death.
Paula was a bubble of Joy. She was our Rock Star! Paula holds a special bright spot in all of our lives. Her positivity and smile were an inspiration to all. Paula had an enthusiasm for life and a contagious smile which filled the room with a breath of fresh air. She will be missed dearly, and never replaced. She was involved in her church and local organizations. She was a member of St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, Girls on the Run and Go Red for Women. She loved the outdoors and her garden. She always enjoyed entertaining.
Paula is survived by her parents, Ken and Marcia (Petri) Siemonsma; Fiance` Sean David; her siblings, Jeffrey (Erin) Siemonsma, Andrea (Willie) Jones, Andrew (Sarah) Siemonsma and Nicholas (Tara) Siemonsma; she treasured her nieces and nephews, Hadleigh, Krayton, Asher, Everly, Blakely, Ashyln, Brinley, Beth, Braxton, Bentley, Madeline and Cameron; and her many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and many friends.
