My deepest sympathy to all of you.  I remember Ray and of course you, Darlene, from days of growing up in Dells and most especially 4-H in the Logan Patrol club.  What a great family you were and are now in spirit.  The Hansens and the Jensens have a long history, going back to our grandparents...the link is now broken but the memories live on.  Know that my thoughts are with you.

Being older than Ray, I recall the excitement of his grandparents, my great uncle and aunt, Jim and Nellie Jensen, upon Ray's arrival in the family. So many precious memories of four generations of the Jensen extended family.  While I didn't know Ray as well as some of my siblings, I always enjoyed the contacts and visits when we crossed paths.  Especially remember Ray's generosity in helping my family move from the farm that had first been inhabited by our mutual great grandparents, Myron and Eva Guild, in 1884. When it was time for Mom and Dad to vacate the farm,
Ray carried on the typical tradition of lending a helping hand like the pioneers offered each other in settling this place many of us call "home".

We will be out of town; but we send our love and pray for you as you move through the grief journey.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all!  We know that this is a difficult time for your family.  I am Ray's cousin and Ray was always very helpful a good neighbor when I farmed in the late 1960's and with my parents farm sale in 1989.  He always was willing to loan his equipment when we need something we didn't have or additional equipment to help out.  I can hear  his distinctive chuckle and laugh as I write this message.  Judy and I will be thinking of you on Monday.  Grateful for the gift of sharing life's journey with Ray.  Maynard Guild
