Condolences to Helen and all of Rod's family. As a fellow member of the class of '60, we got to share many experiences. Yes, we shared the same first name therefore he was big Rodney and I was little Rodney. Neither of us contributed significantly to the success of the Hawk's sports programs but we certainly were able to add to the great school spirit. Big Rod, over the years, attended class reunions and it was a joy to hear his stories and admire his positive outlook on life and have our picture taken together. He will be missed.

Diane, and family I am so sorry to hear of your brothers passing.
I used to run into him now and then in Sioux Falls. May he rest in peace.

I met Rodney just recently, it did not take long to see the sparkle in his eye. He was full of jokes, laughs and love. For a big guy he had the perfect laugh that first showed up in his eyes. He was a kind and thoughtful man and I feel blessed to have known him. I am glad I told him this before he left the Center. Every time I have a piece of pie I will think of his kindness. Helen, hugs to you.

where do I begin to speak of the man who had to duck to get into our house when he helped do silage at our home when I was young. He was a big man with a huge heart!! My deepest sympathy to the family and I hope I get a response from the family left . I know it's been a long time!! Karl and Karen [Johannsen ] Voeltz

We are so sorry to hear of Tiny's passing. He always had stories and jokes to tell when he would stop in to have his pilot car worked on. He often called to tell a joke when he was passing by our exit on I-29. He was a great guy and will be missed. Our deepest sympathies to all!
