SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT THE LOSS OF THIS RIDER. I MET YOUR MOTHER AT THE LITTLE FALLS, MINN. REUNION ABOUT SEVEN OR EIGHT YEARS AGO. I KNOW WHAT SHE MEANT TO YOU AS I ALSO HAD TWO THAT CAME ON ORPHAN TRAIN. MY MOTHER AND HER SISTER. WE STILL MISS THEM BUT THEY HAVE BETTER PLACE

What a blessing to have known Sophia and her family at the orphan reunions. It was a great and mostly unknown chapter in America's history. Only God knows how these brave little children changed America. God bless you all!

My life has been blessed by meeting and getting acquainted with Sophia and her children, especially Renee. She openly shared a bit of her story with me shortly after founding the Orphan Train Heritage Society and encouraged other 'orphans' to do the same. I will always remember the Minnesota Reunions.

My deepest sympathy to all of you. It really doesn't matter if your mom,grandma,or great grandma is 51 or 101 it still hurts just the same. I have heard many stories of Sophie's life and it wasn't an easy one I know. She has such a beautiful story. Thank you for sharing that. She was a strong woman that taught so many how to live. She had many blessings in her long life, including all of you. So many beautiful memories I'm sure. Cherish all of them! May she now rest in peace. Gods blessings to all family members,especially to Charlene &Gil, Lisa, Pam, Jenifer, Todd, Cory and your families.

We were honored to have met this lady upon family celebrations with Mark and Jen's family. Sweetness was always the adjective we reflected on after seeing her. Such a legacy of family she created and sweetness will be infused for many generations. May she be blessed with the angels for eternity!
