My condolences about the passing of a talented, caring woman who gave much to her family and community. I knew and admired her parents, sister, husband and in-laws -- all of whom shared her spirit of service. Many years have passed since I lived in Dell Rapids, but I hold close the memories of its stalwarts. Annette was surely one.

Dear family so sorry to hear of the passing of a wonderful friend and neighbor while we grow up next door to each other. She was a very good teacher and enjoyed life and family. I am so glad she is now at rest with no more cares or troubles to deal with. I am sure she will be missed by all who knew and loved her. I am blessed that I knew her and will always cherish our child hood memories.

I wanted you to know that Mrs. Randall was my Kindergarten teacher a couple of years ago..... Actually it was in 1969. She was partnered with my Grandmother, Ovidia Brende in the basement of the Lutheran Church of Dell Rapids. My mom and dad thought that my Grandma should not be my Kindergarten teacher, so Mrs. Randall was. She really loved each of her students and helped us all. She will be missed. My Prayers are with you. She was one of my favorite teachers and no matter how old I got, she always said hi and stopped to talk to me. She had a great smile.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Annette. You all have our deepest sympathy. We were known as the "Twins of the Dells" The Faris Twins, the Nelson twins and the Frerk twins, 3 sets starting school together in 1948. That was unusal for such a small town. We shared school, birthday parties, slumber parties and many play times together as children. Life was good growing up in Dell Rapids. My husband and I would stop from time to time to visit with Annette at the nursing home when we came to Dells and we would walk with her and she would sing as we walked along. I can still hear her singing. She seemed so content in her own world. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. Rest in the arms of Jesus. Love, Deanna and Donna Frerk the Twins of the Dells.
