My dad, Armond Gravenish was a first cousin of Henry Ausman, Henry's mom was Mary Gravenish. My parents visited with Esther and Henry, I have some pictures of them together. My dad passed away in 2004, a year or so after that, I took my mom to Del Rapids to visit Esther, we had a great visit and she gave me a few family pictures. My mom, Hilda Gravenish, passed away Feb. 14, 2015 at age 98. I hope they are enjoying each other's company in heaven, may they both rest in peace.

I have many fond memories of Esther. I recall my mother telling a story that as a child, I went out on the road with a toy pedal tractor towards our silo and Esther came along and brought me back to the yard. She was such a nice lady.

Jerry, Jason and family of Esther,
Our heartfelt condolences with the loss of your wonderful mother. She always had such a positive outlook on life and accepted whatever came her way. We remember the cute small stuffed animals she would always have in the back window of her car. May eternal light shine upon her as she rests in comfort, peace, and happiness with Jesus and one can only imagine the great reunion with her husband Henry and the chatter taking place. What a sweet lady! Cherish the good and fun memories to bring smiles to you in the days ahead. Take care and God Bless All.

I'm sorry to hear of Esther passing away. My parents, Rudy and Mercedes Sward would play cards with Esther and Henry and I would get to tag along. She was always a pleasant woman.

Jerry and family,
I was sorry to read of Esther's passing. It's never easy to say goodbye. I remember Hank's funeral so long ago. Jerry, it's been many years since we've talked. I included my e-mail. Would enjoy hearing from you. Remember the Marshall Islands? Jan and I are now living in the Black Hills so not able to attend the services.
My symapthy to you.
Your old friend, Bob

Dear Jerry and Family of Esther,
We are sorry for your loss. Esther was a very good woman. Our brother, Pat visited her every weekend since she has been in the Nursing Home. We would come with him whenever we were in Dell Rapids. If I remember correctly, Esther lived until she married, in the house in which we grew up. We will see her again when we did. She is now living in glory.
Sincerely,
Sisters Mary Lou and Ruth Geraets, Aberdeen, SD
