Dear Alice & Family
My condolences for the loss of your dear husband, father & grandfather. I know you will truly miss him, but he now joins his parents, brother, & children in heaven. Although I was only around him a handful of times in the 1960’s, there are several things that come to my mind when I reminisce about Joe.
• Stout, good looking, hardworking & hard playing. I remember his accordion playing well and I know he and Alice did lots of dancing.
• Very friendly, always glad to see you, and very conversational.
• Love of family!!!
These very admirable traits were the things I remember most about him. I have not seen him in years, but we are forever bonded by that slender thread that holds family together forever.
My Prayers are with you,
Richard Siemonsma,
Joe’s first cousin (youngest son of his Uncle Frank Siemonsma) in Falfurrias, Texas.

Charlie, Bobbi, Josh, Missy, and families...our prayers and thoughts are with you and your mom now and for your time of healing. I believe he lived a good and full life although it's always too soon for those we love to be taken from our daily presence....do know he is with you always.

I gave Charlie up for adoption and he was adopted by a wonderful family with many siblings. Charlie was raised to be a wonderful man. Hard worker, good husband and father. I attribute this to his mom and dad. With great sadness his dad passed away last night. My heart breaks for Charlie and his family and the rest of his family especially his mom. His family always welcomed me to family gatherings and treated me with great affection. Charlie's dad Joe will be missed by so many as he was a good man. He always seemed to have a twinkle in his eye and a friendliness that made me feel like part of the family. Thank you Joe for raising my son to be a good man and welcoming me into your beautiful family. My prayers and love to all of you. Romy & Norm Thomas

Joe you will be missed so dearly by us. Your biggest smiles were always shown when dancing with your wife and being surrounded by your family. You have left behind a wonderful family and we love and will miss you so very much! I'm sure you're dancing in heaven with your children who have gone before you!
Love,
Colt, Tarah, Kasch, Teagyn and Paislee Burggraff

Dear Alice and family, I am so sorry to hear of Joe's death. He was such a good hearted fellow. Bob and I always enjoyed visiting with him. He was fun to listen to on the accordion in his band. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. May he rest in peace. Love, Marie
