I remember a passing visit by Bobby when I was very very young. He came over to my parents house in Watertown and was wearing his army khaki uniform and sat in the living room on a folding chair talking with my Mom (Irene) as she ironed clothes. He was smoking a cigarette (camel I believe because it didn’t have a filter) and kept dashing the ashes into the cuff of his pant leg even though my Mom kept telling him she had an ashtray but he kept saying no this was how he disposed of the ash. I barely remember seeing him at family reunions too but was too young to remember, only this one instance in time. I remember him being very young and happy during his visit with my Mom. Now he is young and happy again, visiting with his Mom and Dad and with my Mom and Dad as well and all our relatives in heaven. As stated in the Bible, to be absent from the flesh body is to be present with the Lord. And that he is. Our condolences and prayers are with Bobby’s family.
